Contacting Sit Happens has been the best decision I have ever made! I live on a rural farm surrounded by other farms and livestock, I also have a 12 month old GSD called Oskar with an extremely high prey drive and zero recall… what could possibly go wrong? We was at a serious crossroads of what to do, our options was to carry on as we was in a constant state of feeling like we was just fire fighting situation to situation, rehoming him or working with a trainer because what we was doing simply wasn’t working.

From my initial conservation with Matt he was non judgmental and assured me that Sit Happens would be able to help. So I booked a block of sessions with Ricky and this when our lives changed. Ricky is incredible, he introduced us to the ‘tools of the trade’ e-collar and slip collar both of which have been a real game changer. Ricky throughly explained why and how and he has practically been my personal councillor too!!!!!! He has built my confidence and I’m really enjoying this learning journey.

After a lot of work Oskar is now able to walk to heel, loose lead walking and walk off lead with livestock in the vicinity and he is now making the right life choices. But equally I have the reassurance and confidence to use the e-collar if I ever need it.

I’ve booked more sessions now as I also have an 18 month old collie so we have a lot going on with two teenage lads around the house but I know with Ricky’s guidance we will get there and we will have two dogs that will be able to live their best lives with us.

It’s no exaggeration when I say that Sit Happens and Ricky have changed our lives for the better. You guys are awesome!!!!!!
